On the 8th of February, with the attendance of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, the HCM City–Long Thanh–Dau Giay expressway officially full opened to traffic. In this 55-kilometre of highway connecting National Highway 51 and north-south National Highway 1A, POSCO E&C undertaken two packages A1 & A5.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Lee Sang Hoon, project director, expressed his appreciation with pride toward all POSCO E&C employees’ hard work and sacrifices as well as the prompt support of local government and residents. During the last 14 months, POSCO E&C never ceased working until 14 km of the last Package A5 finished, which was 10 months earlier than the projected time . This remarkable achievement has brought us not only recognition as the leader in VN Infrastructure Construction Field, but also bounty for the first time in our Civil Development history in foreign countries.
